حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِىُّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الضُّرَيْسِ عَنْ أَبِى مَوْدُودٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِىِّ عَنْ أَبِى عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِىِّ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يَرُدُّ الْقَضَاءَ إِلاَّ الدُّعَاءُ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ فِى الْعُمُرِ إِلاَّ الْبِرُّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِى أُسَيْدٍ. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَلْمَانَ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الضُّرَيْسِ. وَأَبُو مَوْدُودٍ اثْنَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا يُقَالُ لَهُ فِضَّةٌ وَهُوَ الَّذِى رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ اسْمُهُ فِضَّةٌ بَصْرِىٌّ وَالآخَرُ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِى سُلَيْمَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا بَصْرِىٌّ وَالآخَرُ مَدَنِىٌّ وَكَانَا فِى عَصْرٍ وَاحِدٍ.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِىُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ. فَقِيلَ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
